Professor Kuchida introduced on NHK program “Salameshi”

Professor Keigo Kuchida, from Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, was introduced on the TV program “Salameshi,” broadcasted on NHK General this evening.

— About the program

NHK’s Salameshi concept is to show the lunch habits of people working in various occupations, using the meal as a showcase to talk about daily life, surprising rules, as well as the joys and sorrows of working people in contemporary Japan, often showcasing emotional stories that bring laugh and tears to the audience.

The name of the program comes from a combination of “salarymen/women” and “meshi,” one of the several possibilities for “meal” in Japanese.
